The Fireflies

A firefly's light spreads. One catches a spark, and before long the whole field is glowing.

That's what our fireflies do. They are jugnuu's interns and teaching assistants, young people who sat in these same classrooms not long ago. They learned a skill, found their footing, and turned around to teach the next student coming up behind them.

They are proof of the whole idea: that a young person given the right conditions doesn't just rise, they reach back and lift others as they go. Today's student becomes tomorrow's teacher. The light never stops with one person. It passes from hand to hand, seat to seat, until every corner is lit.

These are the fireflies. The ones who caught the light, and now carry it to everyone else.
